Weed Response to ALS-Inhibitor Herbicide (Sulfosulfuron + Metsulfuron Methyl) under Increased Temperature and Carbon Dioxide

چکیده
Information on the impact of climate change growth weed species and their sensitivity to herbicides could help establish an efficient management strategy. Due excessive use acetolactate synthase (ALS)-inhibitor herbicides, resistance those is increasing globally. It is, thus, crucial find out whether efficacy these will in future due increase temperatures carbon dioxide concentration. Therefore, this work aimed evaluate temperature (CO2) changes Amaranthus retroflexus, Bromus tectorum, Chenopodium album, Echinochloa crus-galli, including assessment sulfosulfuron 75% + metsulfuron methyl 5% weeds. A factorial experiment was performed a completely randomized design with arrangement (2 × 2 6), two CO2 concentrations (400 700 ppm), regimes (30/20 °C 34/24 day/night), six herbicide rates (0, 25, 37.5, 50, 62.5, 75 g ha−1). As result, it seen that concentration influenced morphological variables The regime affected herbicide’s effectiveness B. tectorum E. crus-galli. by interaction regime, except for crus-galli; highest observed at 30/20 rate 50% higher (75 ha−1) than recommended one (50 Except enhanced ALS enzyme activity inhibition all species, but had greatest effect C3 We found levels can alter control clear differences between C4 plants. CO2, breeders farmers may achieve desired such as C. album A. retroflexus applying lower doses herbicide.

optimizing sulfosulfuron and sulfosulfuron plus metsulfuron-methyl activity when tank-mixed with vegetable oil to control wild barley (hordeum spontaneum koch.)
wild barley has invaded wheat fields ever since flamprop-isopropyl was outdated in iran. newly developed herbicides such as sulfosulfuron or sulfosulfuron plus metsulfuron-methyl can control it at higher than recommended dosages, but causing significant wheat injury. hence, two dose-response experiments were conducted to evaluate their efficacy when tank-mixed with thirteen different vegetable ...

متن کاملThe Respiratory Response to Carbon Dioxide
1. A technique for determining the respiratory response to carbon dioxide on the Peabody principle is described. 2. The relation between minute volume of total pulmonary ventilation and percentage of carbon dioxide in the inspired air can be expressed by a simple mathematical formula, viz. Y = K + ab(z), in which Y is the ventilation rate, X is the CO(2) content of the inspired air, and K, a, a...
